Air Busan CEO, Han Tae-Geun, announced the launch of a new direct flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Busan (South Korea), two major economic and tourism hubs. The daily service will commence on April 23rd.
Flights from Vietnam will depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 1:00 PM (local time) and arrive at Gimhae International Airport (Busan) at 9:05 PM (local time). Return flights will depart at 9:00 AM and arrive at 12:00 PM.
Air Busan will operate the route using Airbus's next-generation A321neoLR (long-range) aircraft. These brand-new planes are expected to be completed in Hamburg, Germany, in early March and delivered to the airline by mid-March. Two of these aircraft, featuring three rows of premium economy seats at the front with a generous 35-inch seat pitch, will be put into service in 2020, ensuring passenger comfort throughout the journey.
With this new route, Air Busan aims to enhance accessibility to Busan, the second-largest city in South Korea. The airline also operates domestic flights, facilitating travel to Seoul and Jeju.
To celebrate the new route, Air Busan is offering a special fare starting from $99 per person per way, applicable from February 19th to 25th. The travel period is from April 23rd to October 24th, 2020. Interested customers can purchase tickets on the Air Busan website (vi.airbusan.com), the Air Busan mobile app, or through the airline's official representative in Vietnam, Tam Vuong Trading Service and Tourism Joint Stock Company (Hotline: 1900.1796).
